East Elementary is relaunching their Volunteer Literacy Program, and they need YOU! Please prayerfully consider volunteering just a short amount of time per week to read aloud with an elementary school student. The program will be held on December 15th at 4pm, with practices to be scheduled (outside of Sunday morning activities) leading up to the show. If you would like for your child to participate, please see the sign-up sheet at the back of the foyer. Contact Alexa Kohtz with any questions! We now have buzzers that will ring on Sunday mornings with a two-minute warning, and again at the conclusion of, Bible Fellowship and Sunday school classes. This is a reminder for you to pick up your children from their classes. If you are in a Bible Fellowship group, you need to leave at the warning bell to go pick up your children so that our Sunday school teachers can leave in a timely fashion. Thank you!

The strategy of FCA is "To and through the coach." It is not a secret for how influential coaches can be in the lives of athletes. Thus, it is important to have coaches that have been discipled and can view coaching through a Biblical lens. We want to turn Minden athletics into a mission field by looking for people who can partner with every head coach in Minden to support them and build a relationship with them. If you are interested is getting involved with the Coach's Support Team, contact Riley Swedberg.

On Wednesday, January 15, 6:30-7:30pm, and on Sunday, January 19, 11:00-11:50am, two Bible Studies will begin. Each one will meet at the church building and go through our Strategoi leadership and ministry training. These studies will help any Christian who wants to grow as a Christian, even if they are not in an official leadership role. If you are interested, please let Pastor Tom know. The nation of Zambia has experienced severe drought during their most recent rainy season. As a result, most people have experienced a total loss of their crops, resulting in loss of income. If you would like to give toward this need, our Zambian Mission Project ministry is seeking to provide additional food for our orphan care ministry and the churches that are led by our ZMP team there. You may give at: mindenefree.org (click on Resources, Give, Select Fund, ZMP). We've set a goal of raising $5,900. Also, please keep Zambia in prayer.

We are looking for volunteers willing to reset the sanctuary chairs every week during the AWANA season. This can be a great solo opportunity to serve (put your Airpods in and listen to your favorite podcast or music), or a fun way to fellowship with a group as you make a difference. Please contact Sam Stadler or another deacon if you are interested in helping.
